Bhutan, known as the Land of Thunder Dragon provides ample opportunities to get acquainted with Bhutan’s rich culture and landscape. We will visit many ancient places that are remarkably sound in architectures like Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, Drugyal Dzong, Taktsang and many others. Also, the townships of Thimpu, Punakha and Paro are explored at its best allowing you to capture tons of beautiful memories.

We will also come across nunnery temple, folk heritage museum and Memorial Chorten which are the added highlights of Bhuta Dragon Tour. Further, we visit Dochu La pass that surprises with an amazing Bhutanese landscapes. We will be ending the trip in Paro after visiting Chimi Lhakhang, a popular Bhutanese fertility temple. With pleasing glimpses of this little Himalayan country, we take back lots of mesmerizing trip memories.

<p>The flight to Bhutan is amazing with the secluded views of sacred Himalayas like Chomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks. You will be meeting the representatives of Galaxy Adventure at the Airport and then dropped to your Hotel in Thimphu for overnight. If your flight arrives early, we’ll visit some places in Thimphu. We stay overnight at Thimphu.</p>

<p>Early morning, we visit Memorial Chorten, which is built in memory of Third King of Bhutan (1952-1972). Next, we observe the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Nunnery Temple, Bhutanese traditional painting school and folk heritage museum. Having lunch thereafter, we drive all the way to Punakha via Dochu La Pass at an elevation of 3,100m. We drive down via the rhododendron, fir and hemlock forests and come across the rice fields on river banks and finally reach Punakha. Here, we visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637-1638, the second largest and the second oldest dzong in Bhutan. We stay overnight at Punakha.</p>

<p>The next destination in Bhutan Dragon Tour is Paro. So, we take our early morning breakfast and visit Rinpung Dzong that means “fortress made from a heap of jewels”. From here, we stop at Ta Dzong, the National Museum which was once a fortified lookout tower. The museum comprises of a total mixture of ancient paintings, philatelic displays, armors and field of Buddhas from where one can medidate. Next, we visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. We stay overnight at Paro.</p>

<p>Today, we hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery in our Bhutan Dragon Tour 4th day schedule. This is Bhutan’s famous monastery located at an elevation of 3180m. Guru Rinpoche, the spiritual master is believed to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where this monastery stands today. We will have our lunch on the way in a Restaurant located halfway up the mountain. We then hike down to the valley and stay overnight at Paro.</p>

<p>This is the final departure day and we bid farewell to this Himalayan Kingdom Bhutan. We take an early morning flight to avoid weather conditions. You will be taken to the Airport in the morning for departure</p>
