Machhapuchhre Model Trek is the newly opened trekking area in Nepal; this fresh trekking trail offers you enchanting views of mountain ranges, rich vegetation along with the culture and lifestyle of the ethnic dwellers. At the time when roads are encroaching on the pristine trekking areas especially in the Annapurna region of Nepal, a model trek route has been opened in the Kaski district, near Pokhara. The blending of rich cultural heritage of diverse ethnic groups like Gurung, Tamang, Magar, Damai, Kami, Sarki, Chhetri, Newar, and Brahmins etc with the eye catching views of snowcapped mountains like Mt. Mardi, Mt. Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Himalayan ranges from the close proximity. The opportunity to experience the combinations of rich flora & fauna, mountain forest, varied birds species, wild flowers, wild animals and natural hot spring are supplementary attractions for visitors of all kinds. Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research — North South (NCCR N-S) has developed the new trail in consultation with the trekking operators and the local community. This is good news for the trekking enthusiasts who are attracted to Nepal to try the new trekking trail and also for the local community of that region to host the guests.

Day 1 :

<p>Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and a representative of Unique Nepal Adventure Trek will welcome and transfer you to your selected hotel by private vehicle.</p><p> </p>

Day 2 :

<p>Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley by private vehicle with an expert tour guide.</p><p>• Kathmandu Durbar Square</p><p>• Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)</p><p>• BoudhanathStupa (Large white Buddhist Stupa)</p><p>• Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple)</p><p>• Patan Durbar Square (Ancient city)</p><p>• Bhaktapur Durbar Square (55-window palace).</p><p></p>

Day 3 :

<p>Kathmandu to Pokhara by bus (6-7 hrs.) (202km) by flight (35 minutes) and stay overnight at a hotel in Pokhara near the lakeside.</p><p></p>

Day 4 :

<p>Trek to Lachok or Ribhan.</p>

Day 5 :

<p>Trek to Odane Hill or Chichimle Kharka.</p>

Day 6 :

<p>Trek to Kharka or Khstumai.</p><p></p>

Day 7 :

<p>Trek to Khorchorn or Kharka.</p><p></p>

Day 8 :

<p>Trek to Gibli or Tarka .</p>

Day 9 :

<p>Trek to ImuKwiwan or Lwanghalel.</p><p></p>

Day 10 :

<p>Trek to Mardi Pool.</p><p></p>

Day 11 :

<p>Trek to Pokhara.</p>

Day 12 :

<p>Pokhara to Kathmandu by bus or by flight.</p>

Day 13 :

Cost Include

  • Airport pick-up and drop off by private vehicle.
  • Three nights in your selected Kathmandu hotel with breakfast before trek two nights and after trek one night.
  • A full day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu by private vehicle.
  • All meals during the trek (lunch, dinner, breakfast and tea or coffee).
  • Accommodation in lodges or guest houses / tented camp.
  • One English speaking government trained license holder and well informed trekking guide.
  • Sherpa cook and necessaries porters for two people to carry luggage.
  • Necessaries equipment for camping or tea house trek.
  • All expenses for guide and porters – meals, accommodation, salary, equipment, insurance, transportation (bus/flights) etc.
  • First Aid kit bag.
  • Government and local area taxes where applicable.
  • All necessary transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus or by flight then and same as returning also.
  • Two nights in Pokhara hotel with breakfast before trek one night and after trek one night.
  • Annapurna Conservation Area Project entry fees (See the ‘Permits link’ under ‘Trekking Info’ for current fees)
  • ACAP & TIMS both we need to enter the trekking region.

  • Price Excludes:
  • Nepalese entry visa fee. (See the ‘Visa Information’ link under ‘Trekking Info’ for current fees)
  • Travel insurance. You must do before coming in Nepal it is very important in case any incident.
  • Soft and alcoholic drinks (mineral water, hot water, coke, fanta, beer, spirits, etc).
  • Snacks (Chocolate, biscuits etc).
  • Hot water, hot shower, heater charge, battery charge, phone calls and laundry service.
  • Donation, tips and personal expenses.
  • Emergency evacuation and medical equipment.
  • Hire equipment and other personal items (sleeping bag, down jacket, hiking boots camera, toilet rolls etc.).
  • In case of natural calamities i.e. political unrest, cancellation of flight due to weather, landslides, etc., the extra charge will be borne by themselves.
  • Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
